Chemical Computing Group Signs Asian Distribution Agreement

MONTREAL, October 20, 2002

Chemical Computing Group Inc. (CCG) announces the signing of a distribution agreement with Ryoka Systems Inc. (RSI) based in Tokyo. As of October 1, 2002, RSI will be the sole distributor of CCG’s Molecular Operating Environment (MOE) software package in Japan, Korea, Singapore, China and Taiwan.Prior to this agreement, RSI was the sole distributor for MOE in Japan.
